Totally agree. Kid seems humble and I know he’s a worker because he wouldn’t have already been slotted in as LT1 by Mario and Mirabal if he wasn’t.I couldn’t disagree more with this. I actually believe our run blocking this year will be better than it was last year. The only place this Oline will take a step back in, is pass blocking. This Oline is devastating at moving the line of scrimmage.
People think because Cantwell is a true freshman that he will struggle lol.
What people are overlooking is that he's already testing at an NFL level physically. His 32 reps on the 225 would rank second all time among offensive tackle prospects at the NFL Combine, behind only Russell Okung's 38 reps and ahead of players like Terron Armstead, Joe Thomas, Lane Johnson, Tristan Wirfs, and Penei Sewell. According to D’Money he has been timed at a 4.70 short shuttle is also a very good time for someone who is 6'8" and around 330 pounds at the combine. That time would rank somewhere around 25th.
Then you add in his all world power evident by his recording setting throwing numbers being coached by this staff CRAZY!!
I think people are underestimating just how special his ceiling really is.
What’s funny is that Stafford doesn’t get talked about much but he could be a legit weapon in this offense he has black kid fast in a white mans body. We have so many options at receiver it’s gonna be incredable. Miamis receivers look like Miami receivers should look like. Well, by looking like I mean talent. Not the pigment.
Agreed to me he’s a must get especially considering the time investment and he’s a top 100 talent to me. As we say stack chips!!!the more I see of Eli, the more I think he's more than just a luxury in this class

As mentioned previously get him and no cut Nick and call it a day at receiver and go heavy next year with the highlight being Mr. Wright

I remember watching the video of him benching 500 lbs as a 16 year old junior. My chin hit the floor. 350-400 for a high schooler is pretty dam elite. This dude was like nah, imma just add a 100+ to that and push it out with my Stretch Armstrong arms like a mutant.
Not saying this will happen, but pick your favorite/best OT of all time and Cantwell has all the ingredients to literally dwarf them.
I think Moore has the number three spot and if he hadn’t strained his hamstring before the spring game, everyone would’ve seen that. Well, I love Jacob’s speed, he’s a bit of a one trick pony. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s a trick you need on an elite team, but Moore is the better receiver. No it's not at all. Jacobs may win the Z spot. He fits the Z perfectly. Jacobs stretching the field for Mali and Barkate could be the best combination. It's likely there's a heavy rotation after Barkate and Mali.
Score 1+ for the good guys
He does but he also can run by and around guys. We are loadedStafford needs to add serious weight & muscle.
Great to arguing about this stuff, depth is a thing of beauty
Our staff is elite at scoutingour eval staff is elite
well its called THE NIKE OPENING...on their grounds lolYou can't commit at The Opening unless it is to a Nike school. That is just soft.
That’s an ELITE WR roomJust think about the following year:
Mali, Wingo, Moore, Upshaw, Lennear, Spafford, Evans, Parris, Vaughn, Woodard.
Yikes
If Cantwell can stay healthy throughout (pray to the heavens), he has #1 draft pick potential and future all-pro NFL potential!!Totally agree. Kid seems humble and I know he’s a worker because he wouldn’t have already been slotted in as LT1 by Mario and Mirabal if he wasn’t.

It's not just he's #3. Z receiver aka George typically is quicker and smaller than X aka Horton and helps to have some speed. Josh is a prototype X not Z. He may end up rotating behind Barkate and be our starter in 2027. Jocobs is your prototype Z.I think Moore has the number three spot and if he hadn’t strained his hamstring before the spring game, everyone would’ve seen that. Dre was the most complete WR I've seen and I've been a fan since the late 70's. If he went to an NFL team that had a top 5 QB he would have broken records. He was unguardable.Andre Johnson just showing up uninvited and dominating is hilarious
