I agree but it's a crowded room and I don't think they play him over proven veterans and if Moore is what people think he will be.

Which proven veterans though? Mali and Barkate will very rarely leave the field. I’m with you there. But none of the other kids have proven anything here. I think it’s foolish to assume Jacobs and Vaughn are automatically ahead of anyone.

I’m so old, I remember when proven veteran Tony Johnson was brought in to play the slot. Can’t remember how that turned out but I’m pretty sure we found someone who can play.

He’s a 1000 yard receiver who came with his QB. He’s gonna be the outside target and will be very good. Moore is a big target and will be counted on a lot. Wingo will play. I’m curious to see how Parris does or what his plan is. Huge kid maybe a tight end future?
I see Moore as the outside target. I think Barkate and Upshaw will be interchangeable with both playing a lot. Mali in the slot. Wingo outside.

Barkate is good, no doubt. He was the best receiver on his previous team. He is not the best receiver on this team.

You got the youngin ****ed up...
You think he jumps some vets? I'm a big fan and wouldn't be opposed but I know they love Vaughn and Jacobs, especially his does

Johnson was coming on when he got hurt.

I think a lot is still to be determined, none of us know at the moment…. Good prob to have.

Mali

Barkate

Moore
Upshaw
Jacobs

Vaughn
Wingo
Paris (Maybe or maybe redshirt)
Stafford (Maybe or Maybe redshirt)

Evans (Definite redshirt)

Barring injury I think definitely 2 will redshirt, just not sure which 2. Guess there's a chance all 3 will, but I think 2 is the safe number barring injury.
What’s funny is that Stafford doesn’t get talked about much but he could be a legit weapon in this offense he has black kid fast in a white mans body. We have so many options at receiver it’s gonna be incredable. Miamis receivers look like Miami receivers should look like. Well, by looking like I mean talent. Not the pigment.

Toney is the best. Teams will try and take him away. That’s where Barkate could end up having a monster year

I admittedly wasn’t crazy about him coming out of HS, but he did look better than I expected in his limited opportunities. With that being said, none of that has anything to do with my original point.

Is he locked in as our #3? Or locked in as our #4? Or #5? I assume no. Again, I doubt anyone’s spot is locked & set in stone yet beyond the first 2, which was my original point. I’m sure he will play a lot but so will others. The room is stacked and the competition will likely continue up until the season and beyond.
Yes. He is locked into that top group. We're going with far more rotation this year and he'll be in the two deep prominently. Right now he's 4 or 5

That's exactly how I'd order them. I think the first 7 will all play some (if healthy). After that, not sure if any of the others get real playing time. Parris has a ton of potential but I don't think he's as ready to contribute as the guys above him. Stafford needs to RS and add some weight - kid is way too skinny/light. Evans is good, just not as good as the rest.

Not disagreeing with any of the points made, but didn't they just vote on new rules to do away with Red Shirts? It will now be 5 years total from the time you enroll in college?

You’re actually serious? He’s retreat with his route running and production plus rapport with our QB…. Time to stop sniffing glue before posting bruh

Stafford needs to add serious weight & muscle.
