With Nick Lennear in the fold, I was indifferent on this kid either way…commit great…no commit great. But after seeing him cook Meredith like that, among other highly regarded CB at opening - Miami gotta close the deal here. This kid will look good out the slot when Mali leaves.

Speaking of the slot - Miami has to figure a way to convince Daylin Upshaw to stay for one year after Mali leaves. I think Daylin would have a MONSTER season in the slot when Mali leaves.

We are built for a wide open passing attack. We wont have this elite monstars OL this cycle and I believe the power run game will take a serious step back. In the meantime, we will have ability to go 4 wide with serious talent and a top 5 signal caller with a live arm at the helm. Imagine being a 4th CB on the field against this WR room? Its why I think we have a serious shot at going all the way. We will have a 24 type offense with an actual defense to match.
I couldn’t disagree more with this. I actually believe our run blocking this year will be better than it was last year. The only place this Oline will take a step back in, is pass blocking. This Oline is devastating at moving the line of scrimmage.

Upshaw seems to be the forgotten guy in our WR room. He looked really good when he got PT last year. Kid looked to have elite acceleration.

Upshaw is in the mix for 26. WR 4 at worst.

This kid is a talent. I remember when news leaked that we were targeting two Cali WRs in Woodard and Hale. This very board watched both films and basically came back with the same unanimous take that while Hale was rated higher, Woodard had the better film. This was before Woodard had decommitted and emerged as the primary target.

Is he a perfect prospect? No, but he is a great WR2 for our class. Got to stack chips as much as possible, even though its much harder in today's era with the portal. Some of these guys will end up busts, they just will, even some 5 stars, gotta make sure you cover your bases there and this kid would be a fantastic addition to what is the best class on paper since I started following recruiting.
i know u remembered my take of having usc thinking its all about hale while woodard being the target cause i thought his film was easily better. lol

Elite acceleration? Sorry to be that guy but is there any video supporting that assertion? I never saw that in his limited reps
He’s a quality receiver and he’s good on screens and finding the open spot in the field, but he definitely does not have an elite acceleration. I don’t know what that poster was talking about.

He's shifty. One of those guys who doesn't have elite speed or explosiveness but always seems to glide away from defenders.
