How does Woodard compare to Upshaw and Wingo in HS? He seems behind Mali and Lennear. Light years behind Brysen Wright and JJ. Is this guy like actually good or a JAG?
Well there is an ocean between being JJ or say Mali and a JAG. The kid is a top 25 WR this cycle and ranked as top 150ish player. His film looks great as well. Now he might end up a JAG but the kid is a talent. You arent committed to USC and have the full court press by Miami if you arent talented.

JAG...that's why we stopped recruiting Sales and others, sent Dawson across the country twice, and gave him an NIL offer big enough to have him walk away from USC just to visit us.
To me his tape doesnt pop like an elite wideout. Maybe our guys know something. But I dont see him as undeniable as Brysen Wright, JJ, Lennear to a lesser extent.

Two of the guys you mentioned are/were the best at their position and top 5 national players. Nick is one of the best this cycle and a top 20 national player. Yeah, as a prospect he isnt as good as them but literally you can count on 1 hand and not even get to 5 on who is better than those 3 in their respective cycles.

If you are judging receiver takes based on the film of guys like Brysen Wright, Jeremiah Smith and Nick Lennear, then you are going to be disappointed more often than not. Two of those 3 guys are generational type talents and the other is a 5* WR prospect. Not many people can say they have better tape than that lol.

Not reading 35 pages. Where are we here?

Jacolby George had a really good career, sometimes overshadowed by boneheaded plays.

Eli Woodard is a really good prospect, but he's not a 5 star. As a WR2 in the class (especially after last year's big class), I'm very happy. Gaby likes Miami here.

Frog butt cheeks are tight.

As this recruitment enters it's final stages sauces continue to feel good about this situation. General consensus is that the Cali native will be choosing between two home state teams and the Miami hurricanes. There are strong indications that he will pick one of these three teams, which each one having thought to have held the lead at one point. My personal opinion is that he will choose either Cal, UCLA or UM, after sitting down with his mom and weighing his options. This will come down to relationships, not money, according to sources who may or may not be close to the situation. This decision is tighter than ****'s hatband. Stay tooned

I think he picks Miami but wouldn't be surprised if he picked UCLA or Cal. Watch the spinach. Miami is ******.

JGeorge was a byproduct of the Offensive system he played in.

He was solid college WR.

But there's a reason he went undrafted & hasn't been able to even so much as make a practice squad, or a UFL team.

Woodard is a completely different caliber of WR as a prospect coming out of HS than JG was.

The only reason why the discussion happens is because you guys have too limited of a scope & have the tendency to compare every single player to a former Cane.

That's what happens when don't watch other teams.

I know what last sentence meant, but it's funny that it still applies as is.

Yes he's totally a JAG that's why we're recruiting him to be the 2nd and last WR in the class.
