UCLA is a serious rebuild. they dont have much talent coming back, their current recruiting class is pretty good so far but its going to take a minute to get it on track.

On the surface it looks like a slam dunk.

So did mark Matthews.

The game is the game. Nothing will be done on this one till the ink is dried, as is always the story.

I will say though, it’d be quite weird to decommit from SC only to end up in Westwood.

Let’s get him here next wkend and let Mario and the collective do what they do.

From Angulo:

" All signs point to the Hurricanes holding the momentum in the recruitment and look for the ACC team to try to get this deal done quickly. In-state suitor Cal shouldn't be completely discounted, though, especially if his Chaparral teammate Dane Weber, an Elite 11 Finals selection, picks the Golden Bears later this week. UCLA was angling to get an official visit but Woodard has eliminated the Bruins from contention."

Cal is a sleeping giant. Loads of wealthy alums who are willing to donate if the athletic department actually appears to care about football. Know a few of them myself and it seems the school is making a concerted effort to try. Good on them. I’d love CFB to have a greater impact out here.

Ppl just dont know. If they and Stanford really decide to play ball ...

Financially, they could outbid anybody.

That was an awesome trip last year. The stadium is old with a lot of history.

Fans were nastier than I expected, which I guess is a good thing.

I’d be incredibly bitter too if my team was spotted 25 points and then got hit with the Cam Ward show. Maybe the dispos down in Berkeley need some Papas Alternative Brew.
