This is back from Day 1 of MD. I've never understood it. Blitz with a purpose.

My guess is the idea is to flood the rush lanes. Cunningham didn’t scramble worth a **** against us.

I guess the hope is to catch them in something where they don’t have any hot routes.

The delayed blitz has been so ineffective, it’s mind boggling. We rarely get to the QB and we have less people in coverage. It’s beyond frustrating. Diaz, you’re your own worst enemy. Baker ***** sucks, too!

I can see them from a mile away on the TV screen, pretty sure a D1 QB is going to pick it up. If we insist on blitzing the safeties bring them up in the box instead of having them run from 20 yards deep.

It seems that teams expect it as this point and just know to throw the ball right in the area where the blitz is coming from.
