Edwards and Henderson

Too lazy too read... haven't been following the past few days, can someone give me an update on henderson/edwards? Where do we stand?

Heard today that he ended up at Bama for the end of this weekend. Sucks he didn't visit here, but if he also ended up heading to Bama that would seem the final nail in the coffin even for the most optimistic.

The dead period started Sunday at midnight; the most common misconception about the dead period is that you can't talk. In essence there is no limit on the amount of written or phone contact permitted during a dead period - just in person contact. Here's the definition from the NCAA's own website.

During a dead period, a college coach may not have face-to-face contact with college-bound student-athletes or their parents and may not watch student-athletes compete or visit their high schools. Coaches may write and telephone student-athletes or their parents during a dead period.
 
Henderson is a great prospect.

I don't get it with Edwards. Not fast, does not like to hit, film is average, etc.

Edwards looks very fluid in his movements at cb or safety and has great size. Looks like an NFL corner or at the least a starting d1 power 5 corner physically already and that's before stepping into a legit strength and conditioning program. Quit being a homer....


The thing about cj is he is much more physical than people give him credit for and is not necessarily a smaller corner. Has legit weight on him, length and speed
 
I can tell you which of the two Saban offered, if that matters.

No, we aren't getting everyone we thought we were less than a week ago, but we aren't missing on everyone either.

It is so idiotic that I am not losing sleep losing him anymore. Just doesn't make sense. There is no doubt they are firing that staff in two years.
 
Two years? LOL. I hope they are locked in for another decade, but they'll probably be gone at the end of this season.

That may be what ends up happening. I was giving the benefit of the doubt because I think heads are starting to realize winning the SEC East is a joke and irrelevant in the big picture.

Miramar (Fla.) High School DB Brian Edwards has gone back and forth on a college decision between Miami and Florida.

After his UM visit he was all Cane.

And after the UF visit this past weekend he planned to sign with the Gators.

Now, after sleeping on it a couple of days?

We caught up with his coach Pierre Senatus, for the latest.

“He’s just a kid that gets swayed so easily,” Senatus said. “He came back from Florida and yesterday the energy, he was feeling Florida.”

Can things quickly sway back in Miami’s favor now?

“I don’t know,” Senatus said.

Senatus says he’s urging Edwards to let coaches at both schools know his choice tonight so they can make alternative plans.

“He has to make his decision,” Senatus said.
 
I want both but given a choice give me the kid that Nick Satan wanted badly... That little rat knows DBs and wants Henderson bad that should tell you all you need to know about that...
