He basically said in the interview that this is a placeholder commitment lol. I guess Howard is gambling that he isn't a take for an FBS school

Why would you use a small FCS school as a place holder. You would think that scholarship offer will be still on the table later.

I don't think this is true. Ivins interviewed him and Edge. They have a different perspective on the whole process. Edge said he didn't put him through the camp routine, etc for a reason. He didn't want to be involved in the whole recruiting rat race.

With Chaney's injury I would...He looks like he has gotten bigger. And we took two power backs last cycle... Nice mix with him being more in the 185ish range.
