Early signing period consequence

I hate the early signing period. It doesn't allow enough time to hire a new coach and let him bring some in of his guys and for them to get to know all the recruits before the early signing date.

Now, if Miami were to start off 0-5 next season Richt would be gone or dead mane walking. No worries doe, my way too early projection is that Miami goes 4-1 to start off next season.

And finish 6-6?

Al Golden had a legit excuse the first 2 years though with the sanctions. Richt doesn't have that luxury

... and Richt inherited a team from Golden two months off that 58-0 *** kicking from Clemson. Program went 60-47 between Coker's final year and Golden's firing. What did you really expected year three out of Richt—last year's overachieving aside?

No quarterback this season (as neither Perry or Weldon used their true freshman seasons to learn the system and beat out the average Rosier in spring as r-freshmen) = sub-par offense in 2018.

This program has been a hot mess since 2006; four head coaches (and a slew of assistants) over a 10-year span. Problems were created long before Richt arrived and gonna take time for him to get things turned around.

I expected year 3 to be similar to year 2. Not that our defense would improve after losing 3 from our starting DLine. I also didnt expect our offense to go 3 games in a row scoring less than 20 points and failing to move the ball

Whoa, whoa, whoa.....

I thought everyone was in favor of the E.S.P? What happened? Is it b/c the E.S.P can’t hide a chit storm season? It was all good when we were made to believe we were back last yr, but ending the yr last yr and this bull chit season this yr, both on and off the field, proved that even the early signing period don’t mean CHIT if ur team sucks.

I think Kenneth's friend is on to something.

I posed this question earlier in the season, suppose this is what the regents want - cruising along and winning just enough to justify the course, while ever so slightly distancing itself from the program's 'Thug U' reputation? After all, these corduroy/pant-suit academics are producing an ever increasing amount of college kids who think socialism is a dandy idea for America these days.

I tried to stay optimistic. Chided my Gator and Noles friends after last season that Miami would out recruit them. Thought the O-line and Rosier would get better this off season. I was hopeful one of the other QBs working under a HC previously known as a "QB whisper", would be ready to emerge, after watching for a year.

I hoped the shake-your-head loses weren't the same type you could point to by some great looking Georgia Teams over the past decade and a half. I hoped a 745% coach in the SEC would translate very easily in a substantially weaker conference, and build as SEC type team like Clemson did.

After this debacle of a season, I thought 'OK, we really have to find an OC", now we're looking for a DC too.

Not sure how many years I have left waiting for us to really mean, "We Back."
Add me to your will just in case you don't make it
