Absolutely. If Mario does that again, in all seriousness, he should be fired as soon as he leaves the field. He won't do it again. I know, I know, he did it at Oregon. He's not a moron, but he is not the strongest gameday coach to put it lightly.

Still pulling for him and think he can still get it done, but as always, we'll see.

42-24 Clemson. Just as predicted against UNC, the season is essentially lost and the record will continue to show that. Wins over BC/UVA and MAYBE NC state are the only 3 left.

Agreed, I see only 2 more wins, NC State, Clemson, Louisville and FSU losses - Mario Loses the team again after this week, 0-3 ACC Start and finish 2-4 ACC record.

No chance we beat Clemson. People that think we beat Clemson honestly surprises me.

UVA is next best chance to win.

NCST a tossup - I know they're "bad", but so was GT. They look a lot like a GT game to me.

FSU - stomped by; cmon.

UL - Post stomping, Likely L.

BC - tossup

Brightest side is 8-4, but thinking that's highly unlikely. I honest to gawd don't Really see us going even 1 of 3 vs. CLemson, FSU, UL - all three are L's - outside UL W.

Next best is 3-0 vs. UVA, NCST, BC; more likely 2 of 3, bc every team with a pulse, we have had egregious lapses; hence we sit at 1-2 there, so more likely we go 2 of 3 at best here.

Spiral scenario is UVA only and ****, today, I feel like that may be a dogfight, depending on HOW bad we lose to a supposedly down Clemson.

EDIT POST GAME - SO GLAD THIS DID NOT AGE WELL. TAKIN MY L HAPPILY....but still think every game is a tossup at this point, depending on how each opponenet shows up.

UVA - just beat UNC;
BC just won handily
so, lessee if we're trending rightly. Hope so

In all fairness, we had to burn through all those anomalous methods to lose games.

I think we're down to three - maybe four remaining ways to inexplicably lose.

So I'm feeling lucky this week.

Totally agree and Dawson needs better route concepts attacking the zone that must teams are going to throw at TVD

Mario said he doesn’t want to do that in the post game interview with DBJ. Paraphrasing but something about not falling behind so we don’t have to sling it all over the field.

Mario can’t afford to run things in his ideal way. Unleash Dawson and TVD. I think Clemson is limited offensively so we need to be aggressive from the start. THEN start pounding the rock.

He threw 1 pick last week on an insanely good play by a senior backer. And the ball wasn't even going to 7, would ya believe that?! The pick was inexcusable and killed us, but overall he played very well.

GT was another story, but somehow we won the game. Until our coach decided we shouldn't.

TrumpyCane watches lot of college football for for research purposes

UVA is awful
Louisville isn't good, just got smoked by terrible Pitt team playing it's backup QB. They beat ND but ND played B2B road games and played Ohio State and Duke, rough schedule
NC State is also terrible, their offense is similar to our's last year, defense very overrated
BC is also terrible

If Mario can't win these games he never will do crap here

The only "good" teams left on our schedule are Clemson and FSU

Clemson is similar to A&M, with a worse QB
