Yes. He's routinely one of the better special team players on our team. I don't think one off game should make him lose his spot.

IDK man.... back in the day Sean T and some of the high-caliber guys were playing Special Teams.

Championship teams make those small plays that Day has not been making on punt coverage thru the first 4 games

Yes. He should have been outside the EZ to stop the touchback. But I doubt he'll ever make that mistake again.

Yeah I think he’s good for now but watching him misplay two different punts was frustrating as heck.

The week before he had an awful rep on the bubble screen at the end of the game that USF scored on.

Doesn't mean much as to whether he should remain on STs, but in general this kid is having a rough year from the reps I've seen him take.

This was my exact thought earlier this week.

Making the same mistake twice like that was just brutal.

He’s been lights out on coverage teams. He’ll learn from it- but at least he was back there instead of on the side of the ball- a pet peeve of mine is when players run down there and do not get behind it when they can. He went a tad too far, but most don’t even go beyond where the ball lands.

Felt like Fitz really lit up his potential was against Bethune (yes I know Bethune) but he showed he could make a play and felt like after that game he started seeing way more action

I was surprised by his speed this year. He's got some short-term acceleration and plays with some explosion.

He has traits. Hopefully he continues to improve this year.
