You have a misguided admiration for a coach who exploited the murder of one of our players for recruiting purposes.
I ask you, is this a Christian thing to do?
Also, regarding the other mythological joke about having to respect that trashy program because they never refused to play us....they play us because they need to maintain a recruiting base in South Florida. It is not done out of charity. I don't know how many I have to hear and read that revisionist garbage.

I keep telling myself that perhaps some of these closeted BINARY Nole-fluid folks are too young to remember how and what Bowden and his coaches attempted to do to this program when we were in the dumps and how they handled the murder of one of our players. Or perhaps they remembered but think it's all good.

Hey, no way I’ll be disappointed if we beat the Noles. I hope the heck we do. I’m just saying that FSU looked pretty darn good last night, and I have to say that if today I had to place a big bet on who will win later this year between the Noles and the Canes, no way would I bet on the Canes, no way. Having said that I will also tell you that I’ve made a lot of bets on the Canes over the years, but I’ve never bet against them.

The pre social media says it was easier to hide these things and then urban legends get passed down

I’ve already responded to this thread, but keep thinking about it. I can’t think of a single scenario where I would root for Florida State, or Florida, for that matter. When they play each other I hope it’s an epically bad game and wish there were still ties in college football.

And the ‘root for the ACC‘ scenario doesn’t work either. I rooted for Clemson in their playoff games, but I was rooting against Alabama, Ohio State, and L$U rather than for Clemson.

I don’t have a second team. If I’m watching a non-Cane game, I may pick a side but only because I dislike one of the teams (see above) or a friend is a fan of one of the teams and good for them if they’re happy. Unless, of course, one of those teams is Florida State, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Penn State, and a few others. I don’t like to dwell on teams I dislike.

Players on those teams is a different discussion and a different thread.

Bobby plainly refused to stop our annual series despite pressure from the Gator alumini and politicians to do so.
But Domers and Gators I despise. Followed by Ohio Taint and LSU (wont forget the taunting after that beatdown that started our fall)

Didn't hate them under Bowden but ever since Jimbo took over going forward I despise them
