Have we ever had a 1-2 punch at WR like Toney and Barkate? It's about to get ugly for the rest of the ACC. I just can't see anyone keeping this O under 30 points a game. The D will be playing with a lead, which will lead to more chaos, sacks, and turnovers.

I know some are a little worried about our OL, but a great QB will make your OL look a lot better. He threw for 39 TDs and 6 INTs behind Duke's OL. No one will convince me Duke's 2025 OL was better than what Miami's 2026 line will be. The place I trust Mario the most is along the OL. We WILL be fine there.

We are on the verge of something amazing.

If the reports are accurate of the freshman receivers coming in & Josh Moore's potential...this will open them up for a lot of opportunities. No longer having the defense only game planning specifically for Toney.

Not only the 1-2 punch but the added passing game threat overall and not to mention the entire running back room coming back. Very lethal offense.

I imagine the hang up is the fact that Miami was not (and I'm assuming, could not be) involved in the settlement. If this were a straightforward buyout, we probably just throw them some spare change and call it a day.

This was Duke holding Mensah's feet over the fire and making this as painful as possible. They probably had no intent of actually preventing him from transferring. They just wanted to be little c*nts.

Agree with you about our OL...not only do I trust Mario and Mirabal to get them up to speed, but watching Mensah's tape from last year it is crystal clear the dook o-line was awful. The Clemson game especially jumped out. He was basically under siege every pass attempt in that game and still found a way to make plays.

Even if the pass protection in 2026 isn't as good as it was in 2025, he will still have a ton more time than he did at dook.
