All those guys came in as elite players with NFL aspirations. Some have left for greener pastures, some fizzled away into nothing, most have had mediocre careers. This doesn't even take into account the young guys like Chad Thomas, Stacy Coley, AQM, Jamal Carter who came in here with high expectations and have been downright nonexistent since they've been here.

That's a majority of the top kids we've landed, as Golden's missed on so many top kids on top of this. Why would you come here as a defensive player?

Duke would have been Alabama's version of Reggie Bush and would have set all kinds of records at Bama. He would have went down as one of the best players to come out of Bama.
