Oregon is loaded too . Moore is just like Archie . Tosses it to the wrong team . Both teams do way with the most . Maybe you should go rewatch that Indiana play off game . Moore single was straight trash . Archie is trash tooTrue... I think Moore would have beat oklahoma yesterday tho(with the same talent)
I’ll say it time and time again, Oregon is soft. A lot of talent, but the fyzicality left the building with Mario. Didn’t see things going this south, but couldn’t see them winning anything of note. You don’t consistently get blown out in the playoff with that level of talent for no reason.I'm still trying to wrap my brain around what anyone actually saw that lead them to believe Oregon was for real. I just never saw it myself.
They are never good up front ever, until Mario took over. Then they understood what it took to take that next step cause they always were a spread TV fancy exciting team. And that never works for big boy football ever, you need that trench play and punch you in the face mentality. They did discover under Mario that the trenches matter but their evaluations and development isn't the best. They would have one maybe two guys sometimes but never dominant up front imo. Something a little beyond that I noticed too—they look small. Aside from the trench monsters you were referencing, the players look like they have the frame, but their arms look kinda thin, etc. They are never good up front ever, until Mario took over. Like I say and I hate to repeat it but just like Donte Wright said we are doing what Saban did. Anyone with a brain can see we are that school that destroys you and hits on its evals, we are in that era right now and I think the game vs Clemson opened unbelievers eyes. That game opened my eyes this season where I thought for the first time we looked like the playoff team from last year.Something a little beyond that I noticed too—they look small. Our guys (for better or for worse) just don’t fear pain or discomfort, so they attack the weight room. Don’t think it’s as intense at Oregon.
Good point. But where people made the mistake was comparing our team the start of this season to the team at the end of last season. I compared the teams to similar points in each season. Because we lost 2 games back 2 back in the middle of last season, and we were a different team after that and in the playoffs. We needed to give this team time to find the new players to be the leaders and players who gonna make a play when things get tough. The defense showed me alot when we couldn't move the ball against WF, and the offense showed me alot when Clemson thought they were gonna come back, especially the OL.Like I say and I hate to repeat it but just like Donte Wright said we are doing what Saban did. Losing Buchanan is gonna hurt though. Hopefully the Oline can successfully reshuffle and continue that positive momentum.Like I say and I hate to repeat it but just like Donte Wright said we are doing what Saban did. Ain’t gonna lie then having that supposed all world Dline talent this year and they look charmin soft… okie state was running the ball with their QB on themThey are never good up front ever, until Mario took over.
