The beaches are gorgeous on the west coast, no doubt. I can't deal with their red tide issues an the lack of surf. Give me Cocoa Beach any day, every day!! If you're looking for paradise. Just head to the Keys!

I agree. F Cocoa. The place is a dump. Cocoa Beach on the other hand is Fire! No red tide and some of the best surf up and down the east coast.

I lived in the Panhandle for 12yrs....Beautiful Beaches??...No doubt... but they ain't Sarasota Beaches (Siesta Key...Longboat Key)

I would still take the Atlantic Ocean over the Gulf of Red Tide every day of the week.

I thought the beaches in the Panhandle were majestic until I saw Laguna Beach in Cali.

Too bad the water is like a glass of ice water. Laguna Beach is my favorite part of Cali. But people just don’t go in the water like they do here and I now know why. Hahah
