these 4 in the last class alone and yall mother f*ckers still screaming MOAR dtackles. Shut the F*ck up 3-4 of them on the list will be better than anything we have seen since golden has got here.....

I think you're missing the bigger point.

2012 DTs: Moore, Briscoe and Ivery
- 2 out of 3 gone
- 1 out of 3 has done NOTHING

Rating for 2012 DT Class: So far, FAILURE.

2013 DTs: NONE

Rating for 2013 DT Class: FAILURE

2014 DTs: (You stated above)

Every year you need to bring in DTs. Every year you need to develop those DTs. People are concerned because the line is one of the most important positions and we have 1 ACTIVE player from the 2012 & 2013 class left. The 2012/13 kids should be starters and depth in the 2014 season but we only have one kid from the class and he has shown NOTHING.

The type of class we had in 2014 should be the type of class we had in 2012 and 2013 so we're not in this position today.

So people are going to keep bringing up DTs till there consistently recruited/signed and developed.

So today we have Fines for the 2015 class...not exactly a murder's row line up and more indicative of the type of class we signed in 2012/2013.

I remember Briscoe, Ivery and Moore getting a lot of hype and making a lot of posters very happy.

Jalen Grimble anyone? Hamilton?

"Al just get's it." was said many times when we reeled in these 3. So far we have gotten a giant goose egg of production from any of them (Briscoe and Ivery are gone duh).

We need DT's every year. Golden has recruited this position abysmally FACT.

We'll see how good the group he was able to bring in this season is any good. None of these guys have taken one snap.
 
Dequan Ivery didn't workout for various reasons, lets just say a major reason was, on occassion he would be in D'Onofrio's dog house an would be made aware of this quite often. An some people just can't take harsh verbal criticism, that could be construed as an attack, it makes them become self destructive which is what led to his dismal.. Ivery ended up at a JUCO in miss.

Briscoe just wasn't a cultural fit coming from NOLA an become self destructive rather then accumulating to UM.

Hamilton I am hoping with Moten now on the team will be motivated by the STA influence on defense, not to mention this is his last year to audition for the NFL at UM..

Ivery smoked way too much and was caught several times.

Briscoe cared about xbox.

Both had talent.

Hamilton has 2 years left, but he may not even see the field.
 
11,12, & 13 were the worst DT recruiting years in the history of this program, **** in any programs history. 14 call made up for some of the issues but this team is still at least a full class away from having BCS talent and competition at the position.

I would love to see 2 JUCO guys added to Ryan Fines & Richard McIntosh.

The 2014 JUCO DT's will make up for the 2012 busts and if they can land 2 JUCO DT's in 2015 that will make up for the 2013 f-up.

We need a JUCO 3-4DE more then a NT for 2015 IMO. Chick and Pierre are gone leaving Kamalu, Moten, Hamilton, and seems like Thomas is playing that spot as well.

NT will bring back Wyche, Heurt, Moore, Jenkins. Could always use a talent upgrade though. We do need to add at least 1 more HS NT though.
