So the only issue I had with this last recruiting class is that golden COMPLETELY blew it with Valentine. Yes we got other DTs, BUT, we would have been light years better with Valentine. So what DTs do we actually have a shot at? Or is golden going to have to dip into the little sisters of the poor... Again... at the DT position?

I find it a tad disheartening knowing we have the number 1 DT in Florida this year... Honestly. I'll take him but he can't be the prize cow of the DT class. Any JUCO DTs?

One more kid. I forget the name but he picked UF this year

Imagine if golden hauled 2 or 3 of those guys with the guys he brought in this year.

we got moten and jenkins last year so yea he didnt completely wiff on the position, this year there are no blue chipper DTs down here this year, i do like fines tape, and we offered a lot of out of state kids, which we should have done last year

No, but they dont need him to. They have recruited DT so well they dont need guys to even step on the field til year 2 or 3. Jernigan will be a 1st rounder this year, and next year their main guy amongst others is Eddie Goldman.

then he was stupid to go there since he aint going to be playing anytime soon, he would have been playing this year thats for sure
 
We picked up some quality DT's in the 2014 class, especially for the type of system we run. Late signee Brown can go either way at OG or NT, I actually think he has a better future as a NT if he can red-shirt, especially considering the NT in our defense is basically a OG for the defense.

Remember when we almost got Leonard Williams? And Avery Young was pretty high on us too. Both DEs, still. Major misses on the DL

Seriously though. DT is our worst position and it isn't even close. I believe courtel can be Curtis porter esque... That said I'm hoping he's the CP that wasn't hurt.... And he could play all 4 years. Moten is a stud!! But I'd rather have him at DT because we have some TALENT at DE. Imagine if we even had adequate DTs and anyone who knows anything about football at DC... We could be really good. But you know. Apparently that's asking too much... -.- LOVE LOVE LOVE our offense. LOVE LOVE LOVE the talent we have in the secondary.... Aaaaaaaand then there's DT....... Wtf?

Man please, that kid has no business being on this roster, just because he has size doesn't mean he's UM caliber

I agree if he came here as a walk on I would be ok with it but he didn't. Paranos trying to sell it as a future NT.
