Saw it in the theater in ‘93 and was under the impression it was based on FSU at the time.

I heard on a podcast (the Rewatchables) that Michigan only agreed to be featured in the film if they won the game they were appearing in. Typical of them.

If I'm not mistaken, the producers actually approached the Semenholes to be the school that the movie centered around. But, given all the 'roids, rape, alcoholism and illiteracy, etc., they politely declined. Thus, giving us the ESU Timberwolves...

Seems honest though and he watches this program on his own time, we may have this one here.

Freak show (pause) his speed and change of direction for his size is unreal, I wouldn’t be surprised if he isn’t a 4.7 guy right now. In my opinion he is the most talented DT target since Mario arrived.
