Dorsett

Call me crazy. I see some Torrey Smith and/or Desean Jackson or Jeremy Maclin mold type in his game. Big play threat.

He's one of the shining products of UTough.

For real though he caught my eye as a freshman because of his weight room work ethic. So many of these speedsters don't seem to care about weight training but he was different. Obviously working hard on and off the field. Now fast forward a couple of years and he is a physical beast for a college kid. Strong as **** and obviously insanely fast. He's going to make noise in the league.

It's true though, Dorsett is a really strong dude. He doesn't play like Santana Moss really, but physically, they are pretty similar. Both very strong for their size.

TY Hilton had 223 yards on Thursday.

His name will come up a lot when NFL people discuss Dorsett.

My favorite thing about Dorsett is that he isn't afraid to block downfield. Almost every big play we have I see Dorsett blocking someone.

should be drafted high and will make a pro bowl or 2 with speed like that. 3 star from south florida and he was sort of overshadowed by Rasheed Greene (can't really blame anyone for that btw...another beast).

Besides blowing everyone away in the speed tests he had the best squat, best powerclean, did 11 reps at 225 bench and I think Scott was the only one that maxed out better on the bench, as far as receivers go. He's come a long long way strength wise.

Dorsett was actually a 4 star and even after a great senior season fell to a 3 star on rivals. Never understood why. Believe he was still a 4 star on some other sites though.

James Coley is doing work with him and his staff developing players. First it was Hurns and now Dorsett.

Clive is having a record year.

We are even starting to see D'Marui Jones get into the mix.

Brad is looking great and improving. Offensive line is doing better.

Running backs are looking good.

Herb Waters is coming on strong along with Braxton and Lewis.

Funny how on the other side of the ball that has our Head Coach and Assistanf Head Coach mostly all the players regressed.

I want to see them get Stacy Coley fixed on offense and I'm happy. He's not in synch right now. No complaints from me besides the misuse of Coley and the 3rd downs. Sure both will get fixed.

Defense needs an overhaul on staff and scheme. Their is talent but it's not being utilized.

Stacy is not a big guy and is pretty much only a deep threat. He does help get other players open as teams must account for him. FSU and V Tech will play man so those are games where Coley can get off.

But I agree I hope we can get him more involved.

Lost in all the uproar of this regime is the season Dorsett is having. He is averaging 34 yards a reception. That is not a typo. Some guys have track speed that does not translate to football speed. Not the case with him. He is the fastest to put on a uniform here since Hester. On that 80 yard TD the safety had the angle on him. That boy outran the angle. The term speed kills was made for this guy. I can't wait to watch him run at the combine. He has a chance to break the 40 record.

A very good chance. He would have killed the field in this year's combine.

Makes me laugh when people say all Dorsett does is stretch the field because he has no wiggle. That kid has been tearing up crossing/slant routes his entire time here. He's the perfect catch the 5-10 yard pass crossing and burn the defender toward the sideline and go up field. You don't need wiggle for that, you just need to beat your man to the edge. So many people here try to downplay Dorsett the last couple years talking about Herb Waters, Rashawn Scott, etc passing him on the depth chart, and they are good players (I'm very high on Waters), but there's reasons Dorsett is still #1 right now.
