I doubt it. VT was a zero dimensional offensive team, so F.A.G. and his buddy could play downhill. As soon as they face a team that actually has a cometent offense, they will revert to the sissified bend, but don't break approach they've deployed for the last three seasons.

This is true for this one alignment. They at least had someone lined up on the center, and the center wasn't doing a full sprint to the MLB which was 7 yards off the ball, when the runner diving straight to the hole for 50+ plays straight.

Why is everyone so caught up in one facet of the team? We've got 3 losses already, and none were to top teams. Guys act like defensive stats through 8 games are what everyone should be judged on.

When did winning become secondary to stats? For point of reference, Michigan was ranked 1 spot ahead of us going into this weekend defensively. You think they're happy over there?

Oh how the story has changed. All offseason everyone's infatuation was with the defensive rankings. People wanted D'onforio and Golden fired on the basis of that alone.

The defense gave up 24 (KO return for TD). When you consider our offense went 1-13 on 3rd down that game, the 336 yards we gave up is actually impressive. I hate our D as much as anyone.. but that game was on Coley.
