Hue Jackson's message catching on with Bengals

For the life of me, how do these BOT guys make money as businessman (Okay, DiMare makes money because of of his hard working labor force), but Fain? Look, it is the cheapest time in a long time to finance Cruise Ships bigger than aircraft carriers...That means it is the cheapest time to finance debt like a buyout...These clowns will wait until Yellen raises rates, then say the buyout is too expensive to finance.

This is why Ross is worth more than all of them...

He went 8-8 with the Raiders , so that's the equilivent of going 14-2 anywhere else.

Huey "Hue" Jackson (born October 22, 1965) is the current offensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals. Before that, he served as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League after previously serving as the team's offensive coordinator in 2010.

Before joining Oakland, Jackson served as offensive assistant coach for several NFL teams, most notably as the offensive coordinator for the Washington Redskins under Steve Spurrier and the Atlanta Falcons under Bobby Petrino.

This is an NFL guy. No way he's interested.
 
Perhaps this is the Board's way of saying EFF YOU to the fan base and saying they're never bringing back Butch.

Fools. Butch would be a gold mine for this University.

Yeah, just like that time Al Golden went 9-3 with Temple and was a good hire.
 
Not the worst candidate I've heard. Been in the league for a long time, has the Cincy offense rolling, has coached pretty much every position group and has a HEALTHY ego.

But I don't believe **** with this program until I see it at this point.
 
Raiders fan here. He was our OC for a year and then HC for a year. He's a BIG personality and a pretty good offensive coach. Darren McFadden looked like one of the best backs in the league those 2 years. I could really see him getting another shot at being an HC in the league considering how well the Bengals have been playing. No idea how he'd translate to college, and we just can't take that chance.

Jackson involves running backs heavily in his offense. He likes to run and like to throw the ball to his backs quite a bit.

He's a total unknown in terms of all the other things that come along with being a head coach of a college program. Can he recruit? Can he deal with admin and the rules of college football? Can he manage an entire program from top to bottom?

Total unknown. I think he's a good OC but it's a risky hire.

^^This! We all know the type of buzz Butch would bring to the program instantly. Proven recruiter, proven team builder, just the right answer right now. I'd be willing to bet the farm the attendance would double next year if he was hired. The recruiting momentum would sky rise with that hire. But we have our BOT and we will be doomed to fail on the next hire. I honestly believe the Fins and Canes existence is now interwoven into a spiraling crash into ****. The Fins made the first move to right the ship so lets see. Balls in your court UM.

I've been talking with friends about Hue since the first firing rumors started. He's has always been intriguing to me.

Good offensive mind that's well respected around the league. Went 8-8 with the Raiders , which is unheard of. So he's not a first time coach. He's been coaching at the highest level for years.

Hue's also has a great personality , that would be huge in recruiting.

He's not **** but I'd be more than pleased.
