I don't think players should pay for it and I do think Miami should fire Golden, but what is the "Several billion" that they are sitting on?

You're suggesting that the University of Miami hiring a coach who hasn't coached in 3 years and who the majority of the casual fan base has no idea who he his will be worth more to the school than winning a national championship?

Miami fans are fickle bandwagoners, win a national championship and Sun Life will be filled, merchandise off the shelves ect. and so on. Butch Davis isn't doing that. Not on his name alone.

We need this. After watching these teams the last two days I'm ready to give up footballl entirely if a move isn't made to make us competitive. I can't keep watching the product we've been putting out for the last decade. Life is too short

I understand why people do not like Coley. We had games where he did a good job play calling, including the first half of the FSU game, and there were quarters/games where you're sitting there going WTF? I honestly wonder how much did Al handcuff him outside of the L-ville game. We all heard it from the horse's mouth (Al) that they hand cuffed the offense because they didn't feel Brad could handle it all in game 1.

IF we do end up getting another coach, no matter who it is, I would see who we get to be our OC before letting Coley go. IMHO.

That guy left FSU cause Jimbo wouldn't let him call plays. Why the **** would he come down here to have a larger, fatter, more incompetent, and less qualified coach undermine his playcalling?

*Don't think I'm making this personal, I'm not.* I am not entirely disagreeing with you on Coley. I seriously wonder what happened in certain games where we were doing well on offense and then out of no-where changed our philosophy (I'm not talking about making adjustments, I'm talking about trying to shorten the game). I hear you on the whole thing with Jimbo not letting Coley make the final calls on plays.

*Joking* We do have D'nofrio, but he runs Al's Defense. */Joking* I wonder if the same thing happens on offense. Wish there was a way to know for sure.

I think Geo is a 15-year-old Cuban child.

This is the human being we allowed to get us all worked up. We have no one to blame but ourselves. Why would the highest ranking BOT randomly tell young Geo what's going on behind the scenes?
