The canesport golden resigns thread was started by the board drunk who basically always posts nonsense. He is not all bad though, he hates Al.
 
Some of of you are going to be extremely disappointed. Butch, Soldinger, Dorsey, keep Coley as recruiting coordinator...crazy talk.

I suggest this thread get locked and let's wait until Monday or whatever day this miracle is suppose to happen.

Just read an article that Butch was going to take $500k to become the head coach at FIU last year?

If we can get him for even double that...this is a no brianer.

We could spend a million bucks on an OC....Could maybe get a Butch/Chud combo...

I understand why people do not like Coley. We had games where he did a good job play calling, including the first half of the FSU game, and there were quarters/games where you're sitting there going WTF? I honestly wonder how much did Al handcuff him outside of the L-ville game. We all heard it from the horse's mouth (Al) that they hand cuffed the offense because they didn't feel Brad could handle it all in game 1.

IF we do end up getting another coach, no matter who it is, I would see who we get to be our OC before letting Coley go. IMHO.

Just shut the **** up and stay in your closet U goat humper! Nobody asked for your useless opinion. Oh that's right you don't ever give your opinion you just insert yourself into a thread insult a half dozen people and disappear! **** off!
 
Keep Golden and the program stays stagnent for the next few years. Fire Golden and hire Butch and the program jumps ahead two or three years. We're talking 6,7 years of lost revenue. Merchandise, tickets sales, Hurricane club donations, everything goes way down or waaaay up on this one move. How dense do you have to be to not see this?

Even if they did keep Golden, even if the recruits stayed here, even if the other recruits chose Miami, even if Golden suddenly had the guts to revamp the staff, even if Golden won the ACC and national title next year, even if that all happened, you still wouldn't make as much money as making that coaching change. And all them ifs ain't gonna happen. It's that easy.
