some of this staff will be kept. Ice, Hurlie, Scott, and probably Coley.
Holy **** if one more person mentions Coley being retained I'm going to start killing people.
He's one of the worst playcallers we've ever had....Coley HAS to go or at the very least cannot be the one coordinating the offense.
i don't disagree coleys play calling hasn't been good but he delivered us Kaaya and is a big reason why the kid is developing so nicely just can't see that being let go. the man can recruit.
Coley the recruiter delivered Kaaya
Coley the coordinator is ****ing horrible.
I'll reiiterate...if Butch were dumb enough to retain Coley then we're all wrong and he's not the guy for the job. We'd have "Fire Butch" threads up after the first season.
If Butch gets the job, I would suspect he would bring his old OC from UNC who is currently
at Purdue.

As for Coley, he may want to keep him around and have him as TE coach/Assistant Head Coach/Recruiting Co...
something along those.
Lots of big-time programs have multiple co-coordinators and/or assistant head coaches.
But that takes commitment (read: money) from the UM.
Personally, I would like to see us join the 21st-century and start transitioning to
spread offensive approach.
I see what the TexasA&Ms, OSUs, Oregons and even the TCUs are doing these
days with that philosophy, and I see no reason why we can't do the same, even
better than them, I may add.
I'm guessing he would want to keep Harris on staff as well.
Yeah, some could argue that he hasn't been a recruiting dynamo thus far, but he is the
sort of coach you can't afford to discard once you have brought him onboard.
Especially now that Shannon is on the ufag staff.
