There are three. We all know this is school is poorly run. There are three coaches with Miami connects available. Butch, Chud and Schiano. IF this goes down. I'd guess it would be one of them.

All coaches are available. There's not some 2 week window.

Also, aside from Butch (who would be everyone's first choice), I can think of plenty of dudes.

There's a few just to get started. Cristobal is out there. Schiano is out there (wouldnt be my choice but he is out there). Marrone is out there.

On top of all that, there is a whole other round of potential coaching carousel moves to happen if the NFL hires away any big name college coaches.

Maybe Al Golden wants out and finally willing to negotiate on the buy out a little bit. I guarnatee Golden has gotten a really cold reception from recruits since the UVA game. Maybe he sees coming back next year is so toxic he will ruin his career forever he might be better off taking million less then having the worst UM recruiting class ever on his record along with next season 5-7 record on his resume.

Am reading the same thing on these sites also. Just won't believe it until it actually happens. Things are very quiet on the UM football front right now so am wondering what's actually going down.

Please no more rumors. Let this be the real deal at last.

Butch is the only coach that matters.

If this actually were true - and I hope that it is but I really doubt it is possible - then yes, once again our admin will have proven how inept they are at this coaching hiring / firing thing.

But then, if they hire Butch right away, then I don't really care. This program needs Butch to save it again

They wont fire him, they would probably say he is resigning so it wont look as bad after Blake James said repeatedly he would come back.... its funny cause players have been tweeting up a storm about next year...
