Young school my ***. Urban is more than a "competent" coach. He's a great coach. That type of resume will push the Board or Admins to pull the trigger.

Jalen Hurts has been Oklahoma's campus for roughly 10 months and he looks like a heisman contender. Same thing for Justin Fields at OSU. Why in the world can't Miami find a guy like that?

OU has a great offense, the best Oline coach in the game and a great oline. If Miami had 5 talented juniors and seniors on the oline, this team would look very different.

I used to believe. But I just can't now. I have no faith that the BoT or Blake James have the capability to hire the "right man" for the job. When nation wide searches last less than 72 hours and truly elite head coaches make nearly double what our entire staff make, I just can't believe it. 8 wins and a toilet bowl just seems to be what the people in charge are content with. It breaks my heart to even type that, but it's true. They've had over 15 years to prove us wrong, and they've failed us every time.
 
We can't afford to fire him this early. Like it or not, he's the coach for at least two years. My only, ONLY hope is that he improves, because God knows he won't be fired. Sucks, but that's the truth.

It's sad, that's for sure. This should be the nail in Blake James' coffin. He needs to be fired before he screws up and names Banda the next HC.

What coach would they hire anyways? We're not getting an "A list" coach for 4 or 5 million per year. ****, A list coordinators are creeping up on the 2 mil mark. Until they get it, that they must invest heavily in the program to reap the long term rewards, we'll be an 8 win program (if we're lucky). I just don't see how they miss the fact that 99% of all these **** Bama, OSU, etc.. jerseys are bough by people that only are fans because they win so **** much. Build a dynasty and watch your profits soar.

Which is precisely WHY this hoe ***, dyck sucking, dysfunctional fanbase, should stop blaming players & coaches. They are symptoms to a MUCH LARGER underlying issue. As much as I hate that bald crypt keeper Paul Finebaum, he was 100% correct when he said that MIA has a bankrupt football program with a delusional fanbase.

The problem is we’ve all been here for too long too many coaches why would it be different next time

problem is that we’re relying on an incompetent AD to get the hire right. It’s not happening unless he gets extremely lucky or he’s fired for a competent AD

It's absolute horseshyt to say that MIA is ONE HC or AD away. GTFOH..with that. You know who's ONE HC away?? The other UM..University of Michigan. They have one of the most profitable athletic departments in the entire country. In fact they have so much $$..that they send their athletic teams on multiple trips to Europe every yr..just to waste paper. MIA is very very far..from even getting remotely close to approaching that level. Which again underscores my pt..about how retarded it is to blame coaches & players. Doing so just makes you look like a moron..
