To buy out CMR might not be financially appealing. Forcing him to bring a real OC that can use the S. Florida Speed (spread the field) with a new OL coach at minimum is key. It might be too much to get CMR to let Jon go. CMR can be the CEO, a legacy coach letting his two coordinators handle things and personally helping with ST. Keep attacking S. Florida recruiting.

I appreciate what youre saying, but he'd still get a ring if they win one and hes not a critical member of their staff. Offer him 1.5-2 million with up to a 3 million signing bonus. We have to save this season if possible.

Will the players still believe in cmr after all of this even if an OC is hired? I mean if he gets an OC he is basically admitting to the players that he failed them and put them through some embarrassing *** Shiite and knocked them out of a decent bowl game. He seems pretty stubborn to not want to hire one afte these 2 weeks. Problem is that the way he’s calling these games we might not even Make a bowl game. And that is down right awful. Think about that. Think about that the only reason golden didn’t go to a bowl game was because we self imposed. But here we are in real danger of not making a bowl game. Wow

Actually those buyouts aren’t cheap. We end up paying a lot more for failures when we buy them out. You might as well pay someone who is more likely to have success and not buy them out.

A change of scheme isnt going to do much. The team is uninspired, sloppy, unfocused, unprepared. More interested in some jewelry prop than wins. We are woefully unathletic on the OL. Our defense is inconsistent and often struggles without the multi turnover games.

This is exactly like when folks said “get golden a DC”.

This is a burnt out has been never was coach that should NEVER have been rescued from UGAs trash heap.

There was a point where if al had gotten a for real DC and gotten out of his own way he might have been successful despite himself. There may still be a 19 minute window in which Richt can hire an OC, get out of his own way, and salvage something. It's incredibly unlikely, but maybe still possible.

Its not just the OC thats the problem.

OL is an unmitigated disaster. QBs are a disaster. An OC can mask that, but those kids need better coaching.

STs is a nightmare mess. has been for the entire time Richt has been here. OC does nothing for that.

Our defense has played great against inept teams. It did that last year too. Diaz and Simpson are keepers for sure, but the rest of that side is a joke.

There is a reason he got fired from UGA. He shouldnt be here either.

This BOT won’t do anything. Your talking about the same board that promoted Shannon, hires Golden + extension, hires Richt and son + extension. They are clueless or really just don’t give a **** about the tradition of this program. I’m not sending this school a dime when they come calling for donations, not a red cent. I paid my tuition, donated every year, make 5 hr trips to Miami for home games and travel for a few road games a year. No more... until I see this school is serious about fixing this program. I’m not going to continue supporting losers that have no desire to win.
