Does Carrol leaving hurt recruiting?

2016 Wellington WR Ahmmon Richards, said he's still committed to the #Canes "as of now" after WR coach Brennan Carroll leaves Miami for NFL.

Lulz, this program is so eff'd up.

Our national recruiting coordinator doesn't negatively effect our recruiting class -- what the **** is going on in the Hecht.

I take it the title was just an appeasement from moving him over from TE's.

You guys are jock sniffing a 19 year old kid who has been wrong more than he's been right. Keep believing that there's no affect with this.

At least we replaced him with a proven commodity who was instrumental in keeping his guy Scarlett committed. His one claim to fame in recruiting so far was his inability to keep a guy that he coached at U School from de-committing.

Beard is also a grey beard in the coaching ranks who learned his craft under such luminaries as Bill Walsh and David Cutcliffe.

Tim Harris- RB: Before Miami he was coaching high school.
Kevin Beard- WR: Before Miami he was an assistant in high school.
Larry Scott- TE: Before Miami he was at USF.
Art Kehoe- OL: Before Miami he was unemployed for years.
Jethro Franklin- DL: Recently left for NFL. Before Miami he was at Temple.
Kareem Brown- Rumored new DL coach: Before Miami he was a grad assistant.
Hurlie Brown- LB: Before Miami he was a position coach at Louisiana-Lafayette.
Paul Williams- DB: Before Miami he was at Temple.
 
So we gonna lose 2016 kids who can't sign for another year because an average at best WR coach left? LOL If NSD were a week away I can see but we have an entire year. **** this entire staff may be gone by then.

I listen to the father of one of our current commits. Stop thinking you know more than everyone else. You, like most on this board, myself included have little to no contacts that would know if/if not Carroll departure has any effect on recruiting.

I'll take it from someone who had coaches sit in front of him.
 
I was never a big fan of Carroll as a coach or as a recruiter. He should have been cut loose two years ago if Golden had clue how to build a staff.

My bet is he was told to look for a job a while ago and needed his dad to get another gig. The guy is living off his fathers name and is not a good fit for South Florida.

That's a scary lineup and the only positive is it guarantees Golden will be gone in 10 months.

This aint too good hes the best one out of all the current WR commits we have IMO, beard gotta call all these kids up and get them reaffirmed

We had 15 decommits w/Carroll here. How exactly will him leaving hurt us? I mean, holy ****, 15 decommits. WTF?

Beard is an upgrade as a coach time will tell as a recruiter, but something tells me he will succeed with or with Golden
 
Is that a low blow to Kehoe? The man has been around big time football for more years than half of this board has been alive, and has won 5 rings. Get the **** out of here with that unemployed ****.

Perfect example of why I have grown to hate this board. Totally ignores Franklin's six years in the NFL or his two stints at SIX. Also ignores Williams had 14 years experience before coming here. Love to have a bit more honesty in these posts.
 
Bruce is in LOVE w this move. beard will be an upgrade as a recruiter. he has a better relationship w the HS coaches in SFL than Carroll did.
