Come on with this. You know recruiting isn't that simple.
Of course it hurts recruiting. Guy was just labelled the #1 recruiter for 2016 and he is no longer on our staff.
Carroll leaving hurts recruiting? Did Carroll bring in Terrell Chatman?
Losing hurts recruiting. Beard is a young dude and good recruiter as well. He could certainly keep the current crop of receivers...particularly since UM is
undefeated in 2015.
This: it is the perfect time for Caroll to leave on top! Now, he can always come back to college as some premier elite recruiter... since he'll never have to face being the
No. 1 decommitment recruiter. One reason why you leave at your highest point.
Leaving on top is undefeated.
Terrell Chatman, a three-star receiver
formerly committed to Miami, announced Monday he will
sign with Arizona State, adding to a recruiting class already ranked among the nation's Top 25.
Out of Baton Rouge (La.) Central High, Chatman is the third player from Louisiana to join coach Todd Graham's 2015 class, joining defensive tackle George Lea and defensive end Jalen Bates. He becomes the 23rd player to sign with the Sun Devils.
After missing out on top receivers such as Christian Kirk (Texas A&M), Trent Irwin (Stanford) and Cordell Broadus (UCLA), ASU needed to bring in a receiver. At 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds, Chatman has great size. As a senior, he caught 52 passes for 687 yards and six touchdowns.

Chatman chose ASU over the Hurricanes and TCU. The recruiting-services offer different evaluations of him. Rivals ranks Chatman as the nation's No. 85 receiver. Scout.com -- which ranks Chatman as a four-star prospect -- has him at No. 55, while 247 Sports ranks Chatman 92nd.
ASU loses All-Pac-12 receiver Jaelen Strong off last year's team that won 10 games, including the Sun Bowl. For now, rising senior D.J. Foster (62 catches last season) will play more receiver than he has in the past. Other key returnees included junior Cameron Smith (41) and senior Gary Chambers (10).
Sophomore Ellis Jefferson (11) backed up Strong last season and is in line for a bigger role. Junior Frederick Gammage (16) has experience and junior Eric Lauderdale – a former Rivals four-star junior-college transfer – also could help after red-shirting last season.
Sophomore Ronald Lewis, as well as red-shirt freshmen Tyler Whiley and Jalen Harvey all entered the program as receivers, but spent parts of last season practicing with ASU's defense.
