Lambert's defenses there have been excellent. He goes to the top of the list considering he is available.

I'm more than mildly surprised Holliday was let go. Does Marshall expect to go 10-2 every year? He has had only two losing seasons in a decade there and has finished 1st or 2nd in C-USA most years he has been there.

I dont expect Manny to bring in an older coach (older than 55 years) who has forgotten more football than Manny has ever learned.

Expect more in the accomplished late 30s to 40s range (fran brown, Washington, likens, Justice, lashlee, etc.)

Hes moving away from the completely green guys...but I dont expect old heads to be coming in who can undermine his authority.
