I voted no but I think we all need to prepare ourselves for the eventuality that it likely will be Mario as the next head coach. I won't be all that happy with it but it's sounding more and more like that's going to be the case. Sounds like we have some heavy hitters in Mario's corner which isn't great news for us fans.

Emphatic no. There is a lack of integrity in the way he left his position with us. Can't trust him. Besides, he has accomplished nothing compare to the other candidates. We don't need a recruiter. Al was a recruiter; see how that turned out. We need a coach who will win (notice I didn't say "who can win"). If you win, they will come. Just as the saying goes. "If you build it, they will come."

It's sad we even have to have this poll cause the school is so stupid as to even consider a failed head coach turned bad Oline coach. The guy is in bama for one reason and one reason only, to get players from south Florida. He has nothing else of value to offer bama or any other program.
 
Someone needs to tweet and/or email a screenshot of these poll results to Blake James and the local media who are campaigning for Mario.

We already had 1 coach alienate the fans, do they want to hire another that would immediately do the same.

Just because I negged your posts does not mean that I disagreed with what you and others thought about Golden. It had a lot to do with the way you and many of the others on here were conveying their opinions. I held out hope that Golden could turn it around until the third year. I pretty much knew that since he did not fire Coach D'Onofrio after the second season that he more than likely was going to fail here and I did think that he should have been fired after last season. I absolutely hated the defense. I really wanted to just puke watching these kids look so confused and playing so soft on defense. It was painful watching Canes games and knowing that there was a high probability that the "U" was going to lose a game because of always playing soft and scared.
