One man's trash is trash.

Change UM's name to Fred G. Sanford University if they're going to sit around the dump waiting for Texas to drop off this load of crap. Sitting around waiting for another school to fire its HC so you can hire him? They should be embarrassed if they're even thinking of doing that.
 
Don't think it's as easy as a yes or no answer.
1. What does UM learn in private regarding Butch. Does something keep them away.
2. Does UM go after a one year coach in Herman.
3. Do they wait for NFL coach which will impact this recruiting class as the hire wouldn't happen until January.
4. Is Charlie Strong just a bad fit at Texas and therefore not a true indicator of his coaching ability.

So many unknowns as a fan. Just hope it all works out for our Canes!

Strong suffers from attenuated intelligence and weak work ethic, Texas is discovering this first hand.

I am a BBB guy and also like Gundy and Patterson, but Charlie kicked out a bunch of those guys. The current roster does not resemble those recruiting classes.

Having said that, I don't think we should hire Strong.
 
Two coaches:

Coach one took over an 8 win elite brand team team, and won 6 games.
Coach two took over a 7 win elite brand team, and won 6 games.

Coach one finished year 2 with at most 6 wins.
Coach two finished year 2 with 7 wins.

Coach one is Strong. Coach 2 is Golden. Al Golden did a better job at a P5 program than Strong. We just fired a guy and want to replace him with someone WORSE?????
