I just don’t see a scenario where Bama beats UGA and UGA drops in a way that’s beneficial to us… however, UGA could beat Bama in a way that helps our case from an immediate optics and 3 losses standpoint

The issue is that the committee would drop Bama one spot (ahead of us and behind ND). That would give the committee an excuse not to compare us with ND.

Just humor me here: why isn't it better for us if Georgia crushes Alabama. Beats them by 20 plus. Wouldn't Alabama drop back two spots behind Notre Dame and us with three losses with one of those to Florida's State? I know there's concern they might drop only one and be in between Notre Dame and us but come on. If they get blown out, they've got to drop at least two spots no? That would put Notre Dame at 9 us at 10 and game over right?

They shouldn’t be punished for it while others sit at home(OU ole Miss)
