Big balls Chad to come in here like this. Regardless of how I feel you and your son handled things, you get props for coming in and facing the proverbial music.

Cherry picking what questions you want to answer on an anonymous message board is facing the music?

Opposed to not showing up at all. Get a grip dude. Change your tampon and go get some *****. You'll be alright in the morning. Anyone who lets this stuff affect their lives this much needs to do the aforementioned. Repeat until your delusion wears off.

Let me get this straight.

Al GoRlden and staph don't offer CW's son. A decent prospect considering his offers and that he eventually signed with Florida. So, he was a legit prospect. Because CW is an alum he was expecting a call w/r/t his son. Didn't get an offer and didn't get a call explaining the lack of an offer. So, instead of doing what he expected the coaches to do (make a **** phone call), he goes public with his anger about being disrespected as a HS coach, as a former player and (this is where the hurt really lies) as a parent. The coaRching staph at the U didn't publicly disrespect QW/CW, yet QW/CW publicly disrespected them.

And now QW/CW are here attempting to excuse their behavior? Did I get that all correct? They did not do what they expected the staph to do and THEY'RE in the right?

I think Ozaarksanesaw hit the nail on the head.

Sounds like a lot a sour jimmies and rustled grapes from Chad and Son.

Why is it of more interest to us, how people in these situation act than the bigger problem that the U faces with recruiting and its local reputation. No one is making excuses because it was an emotional situation that both father and son got caught up in. No doubt. Right or wrong its understandable because its a highly emotional process for parents and players. But that does not change the fact that Al should of had someone talk to him about his son.

If you sell bibles for living you may not be able to sell one to the local preacher but you better let him know your there for anything he needs. It just called good business and recruiting is the business that makes or breaks your team.

As well why come on here and bash him when it as well does nothing to help the program. In fact bashing players and local coaches hurts us.

''If you don't understand how a 17 yr old kids reacts out of frustration, its almost always immature. If you cant understand how a grown man reacts when he feels his child is being cheated out of an opportunity then you must not have kids.''

Then the parent should have put that whiny little 17 year old in his place, like may dad would have. But he learned this crap from from his father. If I felt my kid was cheated in any way, I would have broke down Golden's door to see him. Instead he took it to twitter. Did Golden make mistakes here, you bet your ***, but so did Chad, I blame Chad for his lack of character. I do agree Golden must learn from this, he is another idiot that let this get out of hand. When dumb *** Chad started twittering BS he should have went to see him.

Man this is a more embarrassing day to be a Cane fan then getting beat down by Louisville.

Here is a chance for you to learn a lot about the process and you guys act like a woman scorned.

If you don't understand how a 17 yr old kids reacts out of frustration, its almost always immature. If you cant understand how a grown man reacts when he feels his child is being cheated out of an opportunity then you must not have kids.

The point being that its not excusable but we are all humans and situations like these get the best of us.

If you cant understand this then read this thread because you guys are acting like idiots and your not a 17 yr old kid or a father who feels his child was cheated.

There is only one way for Miami to get back on top and that's by selling the school to the South Florida kids again. When Randy got canned it brought a lot of frustration to schools and coaches and Al took the right steps to try and heal it and also fix Randy's issues with some other schools, but he is not following threw with this. You cant just have a cheap camp and think that solves everything. He needs to get out an open lines of communication and keep them open. He need to take serious interest in the local schools, there coaches and the kids of these schools regardless if he wants them in a U uni or not. We have some serious fences that need mending and we need the local community to love this staff and not be suspicious. Suspicion runs deep in the local community round here, you guys should no that. And for a White Yankee to come down here and talk the talk but not walk the walk then you can bet your sweet *** that it going to cause even more problems. The Coley hire was a god send simply because of this one factor.

Go look at Quincy's offers and you tell me that we can afford to not even talk to kids like this? a kid whose family has deep roots in this community and who has the ability to impact your image negatively. Al did the same **** thing to Ice as well.

If you take emotions out of it. This is a major issue with this administration and I would bet you that they are looking at this situations and are learning because you cant sell the school to kids when your spurning local coaches kids who have major offers. The truth is that you need to do your due diligence to communicate with people like this so things like this do not happen because recruiting is not a business transaction for both parties, it very emotional for one side and business like for the other. If your a sales man you know what that means.

If you do not take into account how word of mouth impacts your overall ability to recruit in your local area then your not handling your business very well.

if you also don't take into account how being a total douche bag of a fan in today's world where every fan can get a word into the kids then your also part of the problem.

It sucks major balls to be honest because part of our problem is most of our fans are so upset about the state of miami and they have no idea how they impact it now more than ever. Its an uphill battle and if you really care you will do your part.

I bet you Al is looking at this case and learning from it. You guys should as well unless you care more about bashing people than you do about the state of the U.

I can also tell you that Mr Wilson sounds 100xs more civil than most of the posters on this thread.

I don't like the things that went on the social media but I also hate the entire situation and think it could have been handled by both sides better. But there are no more Quincy's recruitments (only one) but Al is hopefully going to have many more so this hurts us way more than them. So we better learn and we better get better.

A few of the OP's posts are clear secondary NCAA violations.

Mushsquatch is going to have to self-report, lulz. Good luck on that kid ever seeing the field.

Just wanted to state this what a shame it is the day after getting a top 10 class with some great players that instead of focusing on that and the 2015 class which we already are doing well in... We have to hear from this lil ***** about his son not getting recruited by miami? Who cares it takes away from the kids that signed with us that bleed the orange and green .... So lets celebrate the kids that made this a top 10 class instead of trying to satisfy parents and kids that try to trash the program

I'd still like to hear why your issue couldn't have been discussed with Hurlie/Barrow instead of Twitter.

Again, I did not take the position of manipulating the recruiting process. That's just how you end up making the wrong decision.

LOL, now I feel compelled to say something more. What is it you're actually trying to say here? "Manipulating the recruiting process?" Huh?

If this thread accomplished anything, it was putting me back in Golden's corner.

It didn't put me back in Golden's corner at all, but definitely confirmed that I had the right impression of Chad and his big-mouthed son. They're both self-important losers, especially Chad because he's the adult and dances around questions with more deft than Golden and Shannon combined.

No need you follow what you want to follow and I will do the same. It's a shame that we let this dude in here. Sad day for Canesinsight. I figured this board would get to this point and it has. Probably time to bail. I don't like being fed info from butt hurt dads and money handling coaches. Have fun everyone.

Bye ho.

i'm dying laughing at "Do not adjust your monitors" though.

I am too, especially after reading this:

Hey chAd u and your son trashing of the u on social media was absurd and childish.. What kind if grown man airs their grievances on social media...I will gladly meet u at biscayne boxing club so we can handle it like men... Your a joke

What kind of grown man Google's near by boxing clubs that he does not attend and issues a challenge to another man to meet him there? Give it up. Let's just all agree that blackvern is a really tough guy.[/
