OL recruiting is elite, but DL specifically DT recruiting is not. Mario has not emphasized DT recruiting like he has OT. We did whatever it took to land the number one OT in 2025. We need to do the same for DT. We will not win a ship without elite DT play. I keep hearing that $$ is not the issue. If true, then make Brown an offer he cannot refuse.

Texas Tech paid over 5m for Ojo. They did what they had to do to get their elite guy and beat out the big boys in doing so. Everyone has a price. Let’s do same if we are serious about a ship. We are awfully close.

Maybe Mario doesn’t see a DT coming out of high school with as high of a ceiling as Cantwell to pay top dollar.

Justin Scott 5 star, Hayden Lowe 5 star Blunt a 5star and Lightfoot 5 star. Dude you act like Mario is purposely neglecting DL. The cycle isn’t over sit back and let Mario cook long way till December

Can we assume you’re contributing big $$ for NIL for our DT recruiting?

They took their profit share money and gave an inordinate amount,10% or so, to one player and guaranteed it for 3 years. Depending on their roster size that leaves about 1 % for the rest.

That significantly reduces their ability to recruit other elite players.. especially if Deloitte actually does what they’re supposed to.

I don’t know if that’s the best way to go.

The lions are spending over 10% of their cap on Sewell, less players in NFL but not every TT player is getting massive $$$

The rev share also increases year by year according to what Trumpycane read

TT also has a collective on top of what they get from the rev sharing

People are really making a bigger deal of this than it is

The last 3 years ? We take top De but we need to land interior ones . We got Scott and jones the rest are 3 star and below . We need elite interior unless we plan on just recruiting the portal for inside DT every year .

Pretty sure he said DT, not throw out a majority of great DE names and act like the DL is all shored up. That said, I have to believe Mario has a plan there…or at least he better have a plan there.
