DL Coach search

We just had arguably one of the best teachers of the DL here before him, teachers not recruiter before someone jumps in lol, this guy has no college level experience, same goes with recruiting, the NFL and college are way different when it comes to coaching, this needed to be a homerun hire with a big name DL coach and it just isn’t

That's fair.

Gonna be huge for recruiting GA which has arguably become the hotbed for the best prospects in the country recently, especially in the front 7. UGA wants to come to sfl and poach 5 stars, its time we start returning the favor.

Bottom line: If the next DL coach is a savage recruiter he'll get great production from his DL. See Clemson. There's not much magic pixie dust for position coaches. Get great players, and they look like geniuses.

Oklahoma State RB coach looked like Einstein when he had Thurman Thomas and then Barry Sanders.

Oh here we go. He's inexperienced... Dude has been around football his entire life. He's been a head coach at a pretty big time program for years. Been working in the NFL for the last year. He knows young kids, he knows the recruiting process.

Richt knows him and his values/potential. Do you know him, his values, his potential? NO. So you *** farts quit acting like Richt doesn't know what he's doing.

You guys want an old washed up coach because he's been doing it for a long time? Or a guy like Kool who can't recruit?

Not to be a complainer, but Mike Rumph was a big time high school coach in SFL

Not on that level! Dude is a legend in GA. Don't know if he can coach, he can, but that's not a good comparison. A good comparison would be the Old St. Thomas coach George Smith
