Just a matter of time for DJ until he starts at tackle. He has an unusually long reach at 6'3". Athletic and a mauler. Agree, move St. Louis back to RT and kick Donaldson inside and we've got of the better lines.

His extremely long frame for 6’3 is why he can play all five spots , which is hard to do. This’s arms are crazy long so he can get his hands on the dl just as fast if he were a 6’5-6’6 tackle. You don’t see many 6’3 tackles but those arms belong on somebody 6’6.

Dude is a mauler and nasty , one of the best Fr ol we’ve brought in awhile.

Thank you! And yes, start him at LT and everyone goes where they belong. So sick of putting our best guards at tackle. Brandon Washington should of turned into a 1st round guard. Before that it was Orlando Franklin. Think we even put Figuerora at tackle. Let the guys develop at there natural position. Donaldson should have been mauling people all season at guard. Let him do what he does best.

While it is obvious at this point that scaife is a better tackle than louis or donaldson more than likely ever will be, all that's left now is for him knowing the playbook and getting in starter shape, other than that, this o-line in the future is going to be ****, cause campbell moves the crowd as well, along with reed, coach searel's is starting to earn his money, i dont think they plan on moving mahoney, but i do think adding scaife over louis will be an upgrade. Come the Fsu game, we should find out real quick. That man scaife was pancaking people, lol.

Alot of the last remnants of the moron regime are almost purged from this roster, the young guns will began to start earning more playing time and taking spots. The guys like jaquan, redwine, gauthier, jackson, smith, they belong here for sure, and will be missed, but they are Canes, as this roster develops, defensively we definitely gotta step it up on the recruiting front and so far so good. This year is going to be fun, as guys continue to develop, it's great seeing young guys being able to come in games again and get real playing time. The homer/dallas tandem will soon be backed up by the davis/lingard tandem.

The overall team talent is not to far off from where it needs to be, just a few more training sessions with big gus and staff and this program will be back to where it consistently belongs, although we do have enuff talent to compete with anybody, it's just young, but im enjoying the journey of us getting back to the top.
