I don't disagree with the strategy of moving on from the legacy QB when you take over, even if there's potential. Look what happened with Mario and TVD. You can't have the leader of the team be burdened with the failures prior staff. I think it's best for both to get a new start.

He will not be doing that. Moore burned 1 season of eligibility as a freshman. Lagway already has played 2 years

I just want to get the Portal Board back flowing now that there are a ton of announcements.

I don’t think we go in this direction, but Lagway can flourish in the right system. He is really talented. Florida was a mess and he came back too early from injury.

He really is athletic not quite sure that he’s a talented quarterback

I'm not high on Lagway AT ALL.

IMO the worst thing that happened to DJ Lagway was winning the Gatorade POY award. It put unrealistic expectations on him. He's a developmental QB who has developed a little at UF but not much.

If I were advising him, I'd push him to USF or UCF, but the egos involved will likely push him into a P4 gig where he'll be a 50-50 signee.

I really hope Miami doesnt waste time or money on this kid.

In my opinion, people are confusing, raw athletic talent with actual good quarterback skills.

Remind me where we’ve seen that before….
