I know Vaughn Telemaque wasn't as good as expected but he was a Cali guy. Someone else mentioned Kaaya.
I have to say we are blessed to even be able to recruit Cali.

Sucks about his family and I have no doubt this solidified his yearning for wanting to leave the program, after only getting playing time on special teams.

I’m not saying the staff needs to stroke egos after recruits sign or that dJ has an ego, but there is nothing wrong with throwing a dog a bone once in a while. This kid had the most offers in the country, reached out to the staff about wanting to be here, got a tattoo of the U and we can’t give this kid a little playing time. Especially when the defense is gassed like they were in the second quarter on that long as drive against Wisconsin.

For the past week all I been hearing was that we lost for not having enough depth. Well what the fck are we doing? Yea I get that he wants to be close to home but for a while there were rumors of DJ not being happy with playing time. Either red shirt him or use the kid. Don’t waste his red shirt on special teams. At least not to a highly rated 4 star in a position of need.

This sucks man we’re chasing off kids who wanted to be canes and chasing divas who want to be elephant **** riders.

You gotta get better at every position every cycle. No reason why we should be having depth issues going into Richts third year.

It’s funny that y’all blame the staff cause DJ wants to leave and so does RJ/Norton. I understand trying to be ahead of your numbers but it’s hard to recruit when on paper your are loaded correctly. It’s hard to predict kids quitting and leaving early.

This right here. It's easy to say "the staff knows what they're doing," but there is now plenty of evidence to the contrary in regards to their DL recruiting. Everyone here agrees that we need more depth on the DL and the staff has known about DJ for a while, so why the f*ck has a guy like Nik Bonitto not gotten more attention? Same with the DT situation and only putting the full-court press on Nesta despite McIntosh and Norton leaning pro all year. How they handled Johnson is almost irrelevant here, not having more depth on the DL heading into Year 3 is inexcusable with all the talent we have in South Florida...ESPECIALLY considering that we are playing under 85 and have more scholarships at our disposal.

They didnt neglect o-line. They brought in several highly ranked guys that haven't worked out so far for whatever reason.

This sucks because pass rushers are so valuable and DJ has talent. All eyes on Scott Patchan now.

Sorry man but that doesn't make me feel better. A while back you mentioned that our coaches needed to handle this a certain way (ala DJ williams). We didn't and he's gone. At some point all of this attrition is going to hurt us, the same way it did Richt while he was at UGA. You can't stack chips when guys are leaving left and right and then you compound that by basically under recruiting. We'll see how things pan out come February, but I swear I've seen this movie before.

Even their fans knew those guys were bums outside of Francois, although I think Blackman is legit.

Agreed on Francois and Blackman but they've still signed multiple 4* quarterbacks recently whether they've panned out or not. There's no excuse for a school like FSU to have the lack of talent at WR that they currently have.
