QB - A transfer to be named later

There’s nothing solid other than flipping Milroe from Texas which I don’t think anybody has a reason to be confident in. It’s Texas, they’re one of the few schools who can outbid the SEC. They’re not gonna lose a top QB in their own backyard.

RB - Thad Franklin

This is expected

WR - Jacolby George

Rumors are he’s over 6’0 weighing 170-180 so it looks like we might rob this kid.

WR - Brashard Smith

Gives us an offensive weapon that can be a RB or WR depending on how we line up. I’m really liking our chances with him.

WR - Mello Brinson

Gives us a ton of length with the potential to gain athleticism as he puts on more weight/strength. He’ll play his freshman year, he’s that good. I’m also really liking our chances here. Might be saving a spot here.

TE - Elijah Arroyo

Expected

TE- Khalil Brantley

Expected

OT Michael McLaughlin

Expected

OL Laurence Seymore

Expected

OL Ryan Rodriguez

Expected

DE - Jabari Ishmael

Expected because his dad works here. Not really talked about but should be.

DE - Thomas Davis

A bit under sized but I really like this kid. He really wanted this offer and now his dad posts here so I’m liking our chances. We could go with only 1 here because of how loaded next year is and we’re deep here already but I’m not passing on Davis.

DT - Savion Collins

Expected. I don’t think he’s a priority of the gates anymore. Their loss but he’s a bit of a project.

DT - Allen Haye

Expected

DT - Leonard Taylor

Yea, a bit of a surprise but I really think the possibility of playing early and a 10 - 12 win season makes us the leader here. I don’t get a troll vibe being that he’s talking about how we gained so much ground. I’m not positive yet but I do believe it’s realistic.

Striker/LB - Chase Smith

Uber athlete you can play at S, LB, or WR. There’s no way they won’t pull this legacy...right?

LB - Jacorey Hammett

Expected

LB - Tyler Johnson

Expected

LB - Deshawn Troutman

Expected

CB - Duce Chestnut

There’s no way they’re only taking 2 and I’m going with Chestnut because I don’t think he’s a troll like Brown. You can swap Brown for chestnut, I don’t think there’s a talent difference.

CB - Tim Burns

Expected

CB - Malik Curtis

Expected

S - Kam Kinchens

I think we can pull away from Auburn here. Gives us an actual ball hawk.

K - Andy Borregales

Expected

Overview -

This would give us a class of 247.14 which would be good enough of a fringe top 15 class without a QB being included. With Jake Garcia included it turns to a 256.95 and with Jalen Milroe it’s turns to a 255.14. I feel that even if this is how we finish that the class is very top heavy. I don’t like the bottom of this class with the only guy I would personally want here is Troutman. I don’t like the CB class at all even with Duce or Brown, I feel as if Curtis is a reach. All in all I do feel the top will put weigh it so I have hope for it.

I’d like that class with one more OT prospect. Gotta okay the numbers odds game with that position if you can’t pull Marcus tate or Evan Neal types ya know
I would too but I think that answer becomes more realistic once recruiting opens. I would love to put Tristian Leigh here but I just don’t believe it’s realistic.

With how loaded So Flo is this year, we have to have a top 10 class. I know we are taking a specialist which hurts the rankings but we have to do better at CB. I know Rumph groupies will go dwn with his ship and never admit defeat but if this class holds true it is painfully obvious dude is underperforming.

I've been saying for months that Top 15 is probably the absolute ceiling. Just way too far behind on way too many highly ranked kids to expect any more than that. If this class winds up at 10th or higher, Miami had a ridiculously successful 2020 season (like, probably a NY6 bowl, at worst) and Manny blew the doors off this thing.

I've prepared myself for something in the high teens or low twenties. Just don't really see how they can get much higher than that. 15th would be a win, IMO.

What’s really hurting it is the lack of a class leader and QB. There’s no one in it to kind of take the lead like Don did last year or Brevin in ‘18. I think people are also starting to realize that we’re not valued as a school anymore either.

I'd take out duce and put in markevious brown i think brown is better and then I think/hope curtis is in a situation like demarius good was a few years back where he has to perform to keep his spot.

That could happen. I just don’t trust that Brown isn’t a troll.

I'm not giving up on signing a 21 QB as the season hasn't even started and nobody knows what the offense here is going to look like. Still, not signing a QB coupled with taking a kicker will artificially lower the class average ranking. I'm pretty OK with everything else. CB does look like it could use a big name addition.

I see the possible brown troll but I think he is realizing that the upper schools he thinks he could go to he isn't a take so he might be forced to be serious with our commitment.

I’m iffy on Taylor I guess it depends on mostly how our season goes but pretty realistic mock class..

I also really like Thomas Davis. His film was just fun to watch ragdolling ball carriers. Feel good about where we are with receivers class & I think chase smith will thrive wherever we put him, but I like defense slightly more.

I like 2021 QB Clay Millen he is a Top 20 QB and the son of an NFL QB so he has been developed at home. Not to mention he could provide long term depth and be a quality game manager that has lethal accuracy having thrown 35TD's and only 1 int as a junior. That type of performance would rally SFL skill players to want to play with QB that can get them the ball.

Also watching Millen's only 1yr film as a starter he gets the ball out in 4 seconds or less, the only issue is the majority of Millen's reads are half field progressions. But his dad has made it major point to teach his sons full field progression reading of defenses (a la pro style NFL offenses).

But for some reason Coach Lashlee seems uninterested despite Millen reaching out to him and pop cooney.

Dang, I think you could be a little more optimistic and be realist as well 😂😂😂. This would be my class

This would be a great class IMO.
QB- don't really know who we get and I'm not really worried about it.
Wr- Jaden Alexis, Jacolby george, Yul or Brashad Smith, Brinson. Imo there is no reason to take Brad and Yul, and that's just due to numbers, I prefer Yul becuase he is more versatile.
TE- Khalil Brantley, Elijah Arroyo
CB- Tim burns, Curtis, Markevious Brown or Omarion Cooper or Nyland Green. Let's bring in a Scenario, since this is recruiting and things never go the way you want. Let's say We are not able to grab Jaden Alexis, I would move Curtis to the WR or just make him an athlete and bring in another blue chip corner, such as a Omarion Cooper or Nyland Green.
OG- Laurence Seymore, Ryan Rodriguez-2
OT- Michael McClaughlin, and OT. There are plenty of Blue Chip tackles out there. We are bound to get 1 if we have a good season.
LB- Chase Smith, Deshaun troutman, Tyler Johnson.I think the staff should figure out a way to add Hood or Poole.
Striker or could play SS, prefer striker- Dink Jackson
DE- Jacorey Hammett, Ishmael or some Blue chip recruit. In my opinion Hammett is super young and has the potential to grow some more, let's say he grows an inch and gains like 10lbs before coming in I think he can be a WDE, similar to Trevon Hill in terms of body type. At the combine Hill was 6'3 233.
S- Kamren Kinchens
DT- Leonard Taylor, Allan Haye, Savion Collins
RB- Thad Franklin
K- Andres Borregales

This is my dream class and I think it could happen if we have a good season. The unrealistic option is Taylor and Alexis is not trending in the right direction rn, but you never know.

PS, I'm not really high on Johnson, but I didnt want everybody getting on me so I left him in 😂😂😂.
