The key issue is somebody gave him some really bad advice. Really really bad advice. Does he have no one in his life that he can count on to give him decent life advice?
He could’ve just waited until the end of the season since quitting now gives him no advantage. And who knows what would have happened between now and the end of the season. He could’ve gotten some catches and showed out a little bit for his next school/opportunity.
Now, he has to answer questions about being a punk and a quitter. That’s what people are going to think about him. They’re going to ask themselves, do I want this whiny bltch on my team?
Kid got really really bad advice.

I finally got around to watching the Va Tech game video last night. There was a moment when UM scored a touchdown, I think it was when we went up 21-10. They showed the team celebrating on the sideline. Right before it cuts to commercial you can see Mullins sitting on the bench just stewing in anger. It sort of brought all of these tweets and message board posts to life for me, a little bit.
Best of luck to him. I hope can get on with another program and finish his degree.
Agreed! If he’s as good as he believes he is then he can catch on with another program. Maybe it lights a fire under him (Kamara made out alright for someone who finished up at a different school).Maybe.. Or maybe he looked at the facts, that:
a) He had already been passed up by 2 true freshmen.
b) He sees another crop of really good freshmen coming in.
c) He'd probably still be behind Cager if he was healthy.
d) Him and Dugans just don't really get along and he doesn't enjoy playing under his position coach.
Now the way he went about it, airing the dirty laundry on social media is weak and immature, but if he's not happy and doesn't think he can ever get the PT he wants here, he should leave, and he did.

Sorry to inform you, you are both idiots.
Why quit in the middle of the season? If he waited until the season was over, and leaves the team then, it’s the same as quitting now. Except he doesn’t end up looking like a punk that’s a quitter and a loser. Who wants that kind of pušśy on their team? It’s going to be a lot harder for him now.
But I guess you two geniuses can tell me how in the fūck it was better for him to quit in the middle of the season, like a little pouting bltch.
Dude had 7 snaps vs Vtech too.
Langham only had like 15!
Langham saved us back to back weeks, and he only got 15. Mullins should consider himself lucky he even got those 7. Same amount of reps Harris got too. And we ran 60 plays. So he was on the field 11% of the time. Pretty ****ing good considering at best he is our 5th WR.
Exactly! Only cowardly losers worried about how they’ll be seen by people who don’t matter would waste their time when they know it’s not working and it will never work. Maybe! But Consider this from UM's perspective. What sense does it make to keep him around until the season ends. Mullins' made his feelings pretty clear and never walked any of those tweets backs. I thinks its mutually beneficial to both parties that he leaves now. What you do eventually, you do immediately.
Wish him the best? Hats off to him? You guys are straight up *****. Has ZERO to do with caring about what other people think and everything to do with being a selfish POS, creating distraction for your alleged "team" during the most important prep week in 15 years. I hope this douche is forced to play NAIA ball and doesn't get his degree. He left the U. I wish him no good will.Exactly! Hats off to him for sticking to his guns. He said it, he meant it, he walked, his choice, I’m good with it.
