I think this was the reaction to all those slow developing plays that didn't work against uva. It wasn't a bad adjustment, the problem is that Richt has no feel for play calling. His answer was to go the opposite direction every single play. It's like he thinks it's dishonest to try to trick the other team. We have to just line up, telegraph our intentions, and beat you straight up.
 
No deep balls until late unless you consider Dj's pass a deep ball. Its the same offense plays every week no wrinkles and Qb's who cant find the open receiver. Lack of creativity when a BC offense with 3 TE's and 1 receiver confused our defense almost all game. Richts offense is so vanilla and easily defended that our speed is negated.

No right before halftime rosier threw deep to Thomas but came up 12 yds to short 🤣
 
on rosier's last pick, I called "quick slant" well before the play. If I can diagnose what's coming from my **** couch then it's a huge problem.

For the first time in my 35 years as a die hard fan I have bever feel so angry, frustrated, ashame and hopeless with this team. There is basically no hope with a coach that just don’t care or don’t even accept he is past his prime and the damage ge is done to the institution. Unreal feeling
 
My 17 year old brother (Gamecock fan) was watching the game with me and asked if the quick slant was the only play we had in our playbook,

All Is could say is probably.

Richt made up for not calling quick slants or drag routes in all three years that he's been here by calling 555 slants tonight. Problem is is that by the 400th time the BC corners started to pick up on it.

The man is absolutely clueless.

Man. I stopped watching in the 3rd quarter. That is something I’ve never done.

The problem is not calling the quick slant. Its something we haven't seen at all this year. The problem is calling 50 of them back to back to back.

Mork doesn't know how to mix up his play calling and keep the DC off balance. When a play is successful expect to see that same play called in the exact same situation. A prime example of this is FB dive during the UVA game and wild cat in the red zone against BC.

Richts play calling is terrible!

But the dude who needs to get canned before this season ends is searles! This dude makes me think we still have kehoe bumbling on the sidelines! ZERO improvement from anyone on the oline and everyone is getting whipped up and down that oline!
