Dinking and dunking against Boston College

This was the man who at halftime commented: “Explosive plays? What? No, no we don’t need explosive plays. We just need to execute.”

His entire offense lacks any creativity or variation, and is simply “beat the guy in front of you.” That’s bad enough as it is, but last night against a slow, predominately white defense full of northeastern anvil-footed stiffs who rank in the 70s or worse in most categories, he was too afraid to let our superior skill guys rightfully humiliate them deep.

What makes it more infuriating is he sits the kid with the ability to throw deep.

Never thought I would see the day.

We were so afraid of their pass rushers that we went into a shell. Against Boston College.

Two weeks for that.

Yup - kept going 4/5 wide and giving no TE or RB help to chip against DE. Plus Rosier has a long delivery and when you keep throwing slants and no sluggo/smash/shake routes to keep them honest, those DBs will jump them.....which they did.

Our offense is about as creative as an 8 year old playing Madden. Even BC, a team notorious for running down your throats, is more creative.

Obviously you haven't been paying attention to our coach. In his addled mind, it IS 1995.

I've been paying attention...check the logs.

I agree though...this man is stuck in the paleolithic era of college football.

Seriously, I question if Richt knows what a good QB looks like in 2018...his past...6 QBs...have been horrendous CFB, P5 QBs.

He just doesn't know what a good QB or what a good system for QBs is in 2018.

This man should be looking for Justin Herbert in recruiting. That is the guy he needs to run his offense. Yet...he's out here with Nkosi Perry and Malik Rosier in YEAR 3.

We run smash, except it's vs the wrong defense. Coley ran smash better than Richt.

Agree with you on sluggo, don't think I've seen one of those in decades.
