Pete was a dude who knew Deon Bush in high school. He used that to gain status as an “insider” in recruiting. For a little while, he had contacts and got some predictions right.

The last few years he was wrong more than he was right. He hid this by using bull**** vague language like “stay tuned...” lol

He never was a football guy, never played a down himself, and knew nothing about scouting talent.

Most of our dbs are 4-5 year projects.....Pete wasn't the only one hyping him up....all I ever heard was Ivey is the best cover corner in sfla....I always questioned his speed at cb ..I do believe he could be good by year 4 tho....all Miami dbs are poor tacklers right now imo which has more to do with coaching than anything else...

I liked him , good filnand dominated camps one on one. His is his first year of playing so I’m not gonna bury him.....yet. What’s concerning is slot of his issues are effort and there’s no excuse for that. Even on the plays he’s been back shouldered , he’s right there. He just won’t turn his head.

Honestly these threads crack me ,cool guys mocking somebody for being wrong on a recruit. Everybody here has been wrong , and a lot. We’re all message board scouts.
