Didn’t know we got second play with one second on the clock

What?!?! They brought everyone back out for a final play? You've gotta be kidding me. I've heard nothing about this until right now.

Here's the play....

How did I know nothing about this? And WHy would Perry force a ball into a guy who is literally TRIPLE COVERED?!?! Why? Because he never even looked at another read. Locked onto his first target from the snap and forced it in there whether there was any shot at it being completed or not. That's Perry for you! He did that numerous times all game long. I even saw him lock in on a check down from the snap on one play. Never even glanced at the primary receivers. Not putting this loss on Perry, by any means. He played better than Jarren, hands down. But that last play is a perfect example of how he struggles with doing that. He was forcing that ball to JT4 on that play even if Jeff had sprained his ankle at the snap and fallen down at the line of scrimmage.

That's kinda why I posted that Perry still has his faults also. He literally was going there 3 defenders be damned. As with all truly pathetic coaching staffs, even if the O improves then the D will consistently fail us. That's that happens. You end up losing in a variety of ways. As an Auburn grad and a lifelong Miami fan, I've seen it way too many times.

Turnovers, special teams, missed kicks, penalties, game management. The truly awful teams consistently find ways to lose and squander talent.

It was a terrible play design. No one else was even trying to get open either

No doubt, brock, blame all around. But my point is, it wouldnt even have mattered if they had blown coverage on the left side and a guy was standing wide open. Perry never even looked.

He might have been better off on trying to run it in at that point

I was SMH. Didn't find out about the last play until way after the fact. The idiots at ESPU break away and go to the ****** GA-UT game. Not hat it mattered in the end but those idiots overlap games all the time - especially games that start at noon.
