Did you know...

It was Rape...not Drunken ***, thats why...
And THATS why only a guilty party would plead guilty..

Nearly 97% of charges end in a plea. You really think that's the case because they are all guilty? Of the 3% or so that go to trial, 90% of those end in a guilty verdict. It's incredibly naive of you to not think innocent people take pleas all the time. They're going to get ****ed if they go to trial.

I'd love to see you decide between community service or a 90% likelihood of prison time, even if you are innocent.

Keep thinking they didnt do it....Not a SINGLE person came to their defense...Players...Coaches...Nobody...Stop the nonsense...

You realize this isn't the discussion at all right?
Dude I'm done...Believe what you want...I was told by more than one person that both players were ticking Time Bombs....
Again....(and NO Fs given what anyone on CIS has to say) If I didnt commit the Rape....There is No F-ing way in **** I'm pleading ****....Period....Stand up for yourself....

Sure. But criminal cases include far less intoxicated dynamics also. And you dont know what happened in that room.

Why are guys criminally responsible for drunken *** but not women?

Two things we know happened. 1) The girl was carried to her room because she was too drunk to even stand. 2) There was ***. Whether it was consensual or not only those three people know.

If you were so intoxicated that someone carried you to your home and had *** with you would you still consider it drunken *** or a possible sexual assault?

It's not common but there have been cases of women sexually assaulting incoherent men. Intercourse is pretty much impossible if a man isn't conscious though.

It's in everybody's best interest to not have *** with someone who is incapable of even standing up and walking.

I have not contended I know what happened with those folks that day. My initial comment was directed at the view that a plea deal is proof of guilt. It’s a separate topic and it’s been laid out here. And there are plenty of unwise things that people nevertheless do all the time. Particularly drunk college students. Unwise doesn’t mean you deserve to be locked in a rape cage for 30 years.

i thought it was the girl that sued UM?

Exactly. Apparently it's still an active suit:

It is literally impossible to consent in that state. The question is self-defeating.

This is a naive perspective rooted in privilege. The people ground up by our criminal justice system are almost all poor, poorly educated, poorly represented, and confronted with a brutally coercive choice with no right answers. Bet your life on a system that you KNOW is stacked against you, represented by a lawyer who gives no ***** about you, against a prosecutor who sees convicting you as both easy and a path to a promotion, or take a deal and move along. Your life and freedom are the most valuable things in the world.

Dont get me wrong, guilty people deserve to be punished and no system is perfect. But our system is too far from the mark, and our elites dont care because they view it as other people’s problem.

If you actually believe a majority of plea who plea are innocent than ask yourself what would happen if tomorrow all those people stopped accepting plea deals and started fighting for their innocence. Their aren't enough jails, lawyers, or judges to handle that burden.

What's more likely to enact change? Who are you more likely to rally behind? The falsely accused fighting for their lives or the people who forfeited their rights.

You've blamed elites , you've blamed the justice system, you've blamed them on being poor, poorly educated, poorly represented, but where is the personal accountability in your equation?

Disregard the subject matter but listen to at least the 11-12 minute mark.

I've carried my drunk friends past security multiple times (Wasn't at a college). Definitely wasn't trying to rape them

Legally you are correct ...Its not "trying" ....IF you actually DID the deed

Do your friends know what you "weren't trying" to do to them😳??

Are you still "not trying" or have you finally stopped??

It actually depends on what the definition of is ...is

LOL
Hey I'm just busting on you ....of course I'm joking
