Did Irma & this Long Break Doom our Season: Yes or No?

Is this going to be the new, latest and greatest, built in excuse, Don Bailey Jr battle cry for the perpetual ***-kissers on this board in the event we lose more than 2 or 3 games this year?

I swear to God I'll start punching retards in the throat if this becomes the new battle cry. Our schedule is cake and we have a solid team. Unless the hurricane injured someone I'm not aware of I don't want to hear this nonsense.

10 wins and the Coastal. Anything less is a failure and Richt should be questioned. Expectations haven't changed, it's time for this program to rise.

No kidding. We managed Irma but a double event -- to use a Jack the Ripper term -- would really stress the season.

Maria is an issue. Not many people seem to be paying attention so far. Some models have it as a Category 5 with southeast Florida smack in the potential path. Interaction with Jose is a variable, believe it or not. We actually need Jose to linger around and even loop back to flirt with Maria. That helps protect the southeastern United States.

If Jose continues north and Maria remains north of Hispaniola, then we're back to where we were with Irma. Granted, potential United States landfall is 8-9 days away but if the worst path eventuates we would know all about it and be in heavy preparation mode next Saturday, just as the Toledo game is supposed to be played. I imagine that game would still happen but not without significant complications.

Some models have Maria drifting south where it could be shredded by the mountains of Hispaniola. That's the best scenario for Florida along with dancing with Jose.

Maria will be a major topic by middle of the week. I'm glad I didn't take all my hurricane protection down.
