Did Derrick Griffin get his score?

Who heard of Derrick Griffin to Miami before he committed? Not even mentioned... Never took a visit, no we were not recruiting him. He was a TAMU commit before and not even they thought he would qualify, we extended an offer and he jumped on... after NSD

I assume you are talking to me. Like I said, just because the fan base never heard of him didn't mean the coaches weren't recruiting him.

In a post interview with Griffin, he cited that Hurlie Brown first made contact with him after Hurlie got the job. Which was on Feb. 10th

I agree. We are not going to hear about every guy, and will probably ignore a lot of the information anyway on out of state players, especially ones committed to other schools. How can we possibly know about all these out of state guys when we are worried about Treon Harris, Quincy Wilson, Genron, Ice and Uncle Luke?

Other than weekly PM I get from Al telling me who they are targeting, I am pretty much in the dark on recruiting other than message board gossip.

That's fine. My point is there can be a disconnect between the fan base and the coaching staff in terms of what players we are recruiting.

That's fine. My point is there can be a disconnect between the fan base and the coaching staff in terms of what players we are recruiting.

Did his mail come yet? I think today is the day he is supposed to find out. You would think if good news he will be tweeting, if not stay tuned
 
I'm surprised one y'all aren't staking out Griffin's place as we speak, awaiting his reaction while he anxiously opens his mail.........

Have seen several places that grades come out on Dec 31, so hopefully we will no tomorrow. Sure he will tweat and let the whole world know if he gets in.
