It was interesting what he said. He answered yes to that but then said that there wasn't necessarily a set group of 1s yet except for a few guys. I am sure they are trying to test everyone's level of competitiveness and also preparedness. Those that show that on any given day are most likely the 1s.. But it is great to hear that the best are going up against the best. And the more guys that get a shot at that the better for the team. By fall, even the 2s will be really tough....

Great to hear praise for ford and Silvera. Also of the young guys Payton and Harvey which I’m sure many of us expected. But Diaz mentioned Zion Nelson has also been competing at a high level, I’m interested in seeing how he progresses
I honestly never understood the concept of repping your 1's vs 2's.
I agree with you 100%. I really believe Payton has that "it" factor.....special. Same feeling I had about AR.Thanks Brock! I can't wait to see Payton, he's going to be a good one real soon.
It’s a terrible approach. Indefensible. Antithesis of competition.I honestly never understood the concept of repping your 1's vs 2's.
It’s pretty common and it makes sense if you think about it. The ones on O need to work the game plan and so does the D. The 2s give you a good look running stuff you might see in the game from the opposing team.
